What we do
Rockwall Services has arranged freight out of the Dallas Fort Worth area since 2009. We do three things, and they overlap more than the three headings suggest. Most customers start in one and pull on the next when something changes.
The original business. We arrange motor carrier transportation as a licensed third party, booking capacity, negotiating with carriers, and running dispatch, tracking and paperwork without owning the trucks.
Where we are different is narrow and deliberate: quality of service and communication, and moving time sensitive, high value LTL and partial loads without delay or damage. If the shipment is smaller than a truckload and it cannot be late or handled badly, that is the work we were built for.
International cargo, coordinated rather than handed off. Ocean containers, bulk vessels, and cross border project freight, with customs flow managed and the inland delivery planned against the real arrival date. We hold direct commodity access in several spaces, including fertilizer components and metals.
For companies that need the judgement of a transportation leader before the volume justifies the salary. Starts with a free first meeting, moves into strategic planning if you want the deeper work, and into managed services when you want it run for you. Entirely a la carte. Importers can get the same model applied to international freight through fractional freight forwarding.
Which one do you need
Start with traditional freight brokerage if you have loads to move and you want them moved properly.
Start with global supply chain if the freight originates overseas and the handoffs are what keep hurting.
Start with a fractional transportation department if the real problem is that nobody owns transportation at your company yet.
