Traditional Freight Brokerage

Traditional freight brokerage is the arrangement of motor-carrier transportation by a licensed third party. The broker books capacity, negotiates rates with motor carriers, and manages dispatch, tracking, and paperwork for the shipment without owning the trucks.

Like most brokerages, we can handle any kind of cargo and any kind of equipment. However, where we are different is in two key areas: Our high levels of quality service & communication, and our ability to ship time sensitive and high value Less-Than-Truckload (“LTL”)/Partials without delay or issue.

If you need to ship less than a truck load but it cannot be late or handled poorly we are the perfect service partner for you.

List of Vehicle Types We Frequently Schedule for Full-Truck-Load (“FTL”) and Partials:

    • Dry Van = This is the standard “18-wheeler” you see on the highway.
    • Reefer = Refrigerated version of a Dry Van
    • Sprinter = Cheaper and good for smaller and faster moves.
    • Box Truck = Liftgates allow for load/unload almost anywhere. Smaller and cheaper as well.
    • Flatbed, Conestoga and Hot Shot = Good for equipment or items that can’t be loaded into dry vans OR non-palletized cargo.
    • Oversized Load = Usually flatbed, requires permits for being so large.
    • Drayage/Container = Moving shipping containers on drayage trailer.

List of Our Cargo Type Specialty Areas:

    • Dry CPG Product Replenishment = Shipping from manufacturer warehouses to customer distribution centers. Includes food and nonperishables.
    • Canned Beverage Replenishment = Same as CPG, shipping to customer DCs.
    • Data Center Relocations
    • Expensive Hardware, Appliances and other Electronic Equipment
    • Building Materials
    • Construction Equipment = Includes job site deliveries.
